Ep. 42 - Holiday Haberdashery

Another year come and gone, and with it, another Christmas filled with Star Wars presents for the crew of Talkin’ Tauntauns. We tell you all about what Santa delivered to the crew from a galaxy far, far away, and bring you along for a deep dive into the Disney Gallery for Season 2 of The Mandalorian on Disney+.

We’re also exploring some of the biggest questions Star Wars fans have as we look ahead to The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian Season 3.

Ep. 41 - The Mandalorian Season 2 finale

Ep. 37 - The Siege

The Mandalorian Chapter 12: The Siege is upon us with the directorial debut of Carl Weathers, and of course the Talkin’ Tauntauns crew is breaking down the latest episode of everyone’s favorite TV series from a galaxy far, far away.

But that’s not all. No, not even close! Disney celebrated Life Day with the release of the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special. We also got a new video game, Tales From Galaxy’s Edge for the Oculus, and the influx of comics continues with the newest issue of Bounty Hunters.

Ep. 36 - The Heiress

The Mandalorian Chapter 11: “The Heiress” is upon on us and its bursting at the seams with Mandalorians. We’ve officially reached the point in Season 2 where many of the casting rumors from the past year are starting to pan out and the Talkin’ Tauntauns crew is here to let you know if the hype is real.

Ep. 35 - Arachnophobia

The Mandalorian Chapter 10 delivered a side quest adventure of epic proportions and the Talkin’ Tauntauns crew is excited to tell you all about it. We witness another incredible display of Mando’s combat skills, the Razor Crest as a taxi service, one hungry Baby Yoda (that kid has to stop putting stuff in his mouth), and much to our poor co-host Jim’s misfortune, spiders. Lots and lots of spiders.

We also share our experience as pilots in the new Star Wars: Squadrons video game and discuss the latest exciting issue of the mainline Star Wars comic book.

Ep. 32 - Qui-Gon's Vanilla Lightsaber

The galaxy just got a little brighter with the release of three new Star Wars trailers and the crew of Talkin’ Tauntauns is excited to talk about it.

Video game fans were spoiled and got two new trailers in one week! There’s a new Star Wars: Squadrons cinematic trailer and the upcoming VR adventure game on Oculus, Tales From Galaxy’s Edge, received a teaser trailer.

The crew had a little debate about lightsabers this episode, specifically, which one each of us thinks belongs in Dok Ondar’s at Galaxy’s Edge. There’s six possible choices that fans can vote on right now. But of course the biggest news for the week is the release of a the first trailer for The Mandalorian Season 2!

Ep. 31 - Doctor Aphra’s audio drama

Since debuting in Darth Vader #3 Doctor Aphra has become one of the most popular new characters to come to the Star Wars universe under Disney’s reign. The good doctor has appeared in numerous Star Wars comic books and even has her own critically acclaimed series.

Everywhere our favorite rogue archeologist goes, she’s a smash-hit. Today we’re exploring new territory with the delightful and nefarious doctor and seeing if she can continue her hot streak in the new audio book, Doctor Aphra.

We’ve also got another round of everyone’s favorite segment: Comics Corner. And spoiler alert! There are some really good Star Wars comics out right now, so you don’t want to miss this discussion.

Ep. 29 - Jason Fry's Dorkery

Talkin’ Tauntauns is joined today by prolific Star Wars author Jason Fry. You may recognize him from his fantastic work in a galaxy far, far away, on titles such as the Servants of the Empire series, The Last Jedi novelization, the Galactic Explorer’s Guide, and nearly 50 other Star Wars stories.

Our conversation takes us from Legends to Canon, from RPG’s to short stories, to novels and everything in-between. Jason takes us on his journey from being a fan with a dream, to becoming a member of the team bringing Star Wars to life, and shares how he balances fandom with being in the author’s chair.

There’s also some good news and some bad news: a new Star Wars video game and Celebration has been cancelled. We give you the full breakdown.

Lastly, but most importantly, with everything going on in the world today we felt that we needed to make a statement about our unwavering support for Black Lives Matter. Ep. 27 - Ended, the Clone Wars have


After twelve long years, one movie, one hundred thirty-three episodes and seven seasons, Star Wars: The Clone Wars is officially complete.

The final season of The Clone Wars delivered some of the best storytelling the series has ever seen alongside legendary lightsaber battles, exciting new characters, and moments that broke our hearts.

Ep. 25 - Talkin' Tano

 As with everyone else on the planet, the entire crew is stuck in quarantine, but that’s okay because it gives us plenty of time to catch up on everything happening in the Star Wars universe. And there’s a lot of stuff happening.

The Mandalorian’s cast is expanding! Michael Biehn has been confirmed to join the crew and rumors swirl around Ahsoka Tano being present in her first ever live-action role! Oh and did we mention this episode has great news for gamers? Cause it does. Especially for the podracers of the galaxy. And don’t worry Clone Wars fans, we’ve got three episodes to talk about just for you.

Ep. 24 - The High Republic

The mysterious Project Luminious is a mystery no more. Disney has finally lifted the veil of the Dark Side to reveal the long awaited and highly anticipated literally project — The High Republic.

Special guest and fellow AIPT Comics contributor Mike Pursell is in the house to dig into shocking revelations that have come out of The Rise of Skywalker novelization, and helps us review the two latest episodes from the final season of The Clone Wars.

At long last the legendary animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars has made its triumphant return. Episode one of the seventh and final season “The Bad Batch” is now streaming on Disney+ and our hosts have all kinds of things to say about it.

Do you love Star Wars comics? Rhetorical question right? Marvel has three new comic series out set in a galaxy far, far away and two waiting in the wings. Naturally we’re already hooked on watching Ben Solo’s transformation into Kylo Ren, Darth Vader hunting down big secrets, and Luke and Lando’s respective journeys after the events of The Empire Strikes Back.
