There’s also a lot of conversation to be had around our ticket buying experiences for Rise of Skywalker and the film’s final trailer. Prior to joining Valiant’s team, she worked at Marvel as an editor from 2015 to March 2018, where she helped develop Star Wars comics in partnership with the Lucasfilm story group. We have her to thank in part for titles such as Star Wars: Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Doctor Aphra, Poe Dameron, Screaming Citadel, and a whole lot more.

We were lucky enough to speak with Heather about the unique process of creating new canon with Marvel Comics and the Lucasfilm story group, how she tackled adapting three Star Wars films of the modern era to comics, her love for Doctor Aphra — which Connor may have lost his mind over — and the best moment her passion for Star Wars has brought her.
